WebScout is non-caching proxy which can be used to easily manage your organization's Internet access. The software makes it simple to control what users can and cannot do, and limit how much time or bandwidth is spent surfing the Internet. Your organization may provide users with Internet access, but if it isn't monitored and restricted, Internet abuse could be already costing you time and money.
Amongst the features currently available are: Restrict access by IP address or by username; Define time regions when access is or isn't allowed; Assign and enforce bandwidth or time quotas for groups of users; Block out advertisements and adult websites with two simple clicks; Block any specific URL, domain name or type of file easily; Set maximum speeds which users can download types of files; Store access logs of every users online activities.
