Speed Download is both a download accelerator and manager.

Speed Download is both a Download accelerator and manager. It features resumable downloads, scheduling, file transferring, scripting and more. Download speeds are very often far from their theoretical maximums. This can be due to general congestion of the Internet but often it is because servers will try and share bandwidth between clients. By using more effective segmented and simultaneous connections, Speed Download is able to overcome this limitation. All downloads are resumable and a queue system that supports schedules and scripting allows for much more efficient use of online time. What's New: Version 2.3.6r2: New: Updated the built-in Kagi registration module for better performance. New: SD can try to open folders in CocoaTech's PathFinder if the regular Mac OS X Finder isn't there. Eliminated the bug causing unnecessary excess disk activity. Updated the Bandwidth monitoring graphing module. (Fix for the average in the graph window being 25 minutes instead of 15.) Updated some interface typos. Fix for queue button oddity. Many updates for the localized versions of Speed Download.
