An MD5 Sum is a checksum string that is unique for all files. By comparing an MD5 Sum it is possible to tell if a file has changed or is different from the one you expected to find. Using MD5 Sums adds security to distributing or downloading shared applications from web sites. They are useful for comparing files and protecting against malicious use. This particular application makes generating an MD5 Sum very easy with the ability to compare two MD5 Sums. A real time saver.
