Sentinel Password Generator is a Windows application written entirely in VB.NET that is capable of generating random passwords. Sentinel Random Generator's main features include:

- Create random passwords of up to 40 characters in length* (minimum of 4 characters long).
- Create up to 25000 passwords at a time..
- Create random or custom character distributions for the password so you can define how many of each type of character (lower case, upper case, numeric, and special characters) each password will contain.
- Passwords do not include ambiguous characters (i.e. "L", "I" or "1")
- Passwords by default start with an upper case or lower case character to ensure compatibility with systems that do not allow passwords that start with numbers or special characters.
- By default, generates passwords that meet complexity requirements (at least one of each character type is present in all passwords generated)
- By default, generates passwords using random number generators with random seeds. This can be overridden to use a specific seed causing the application to generate the same password set over and over again (not recommended for normal use as generating the same passwords over and over again is not generally a good idea)
