Downloads EOD and historical EOD quotes.
MLDownloader downloads intraday, end of day and historical stock quotes from the Yahoo! Finance™ website and stores the data in MetaStockTM or in the form of ASCII files. ASCII is a standard text data file format used by many programs, including spreadsheet and word-processing programs, and can be read by almost any Technical Analysis software. You are completely free to define your format of these ASCII files. Take a look at the “Download settings dialog” section for more information.
MLDownloader assists you in fully automating your analysis tasks. Specify a download time and a list of tickers and MLDownloader automatically downloads the stock quotes for you. Optionally you can select an external application that will be started after the download has completed.
If you have some days missed MLDownloader automatically fills the missing days. Example: If you have quotes till 10/07/2001 and you had not any chance to download quotes until 21/07/2001 all missing days will be filled automatically. (Note: This feature only works for US and Canadian stocks)
