Labels X enhances Apple's file labeling features in Mac OS X.

Labels X enhances Apple's file labeling features in Mac OS X. This means that, not only can you apply various color tints to file or folder icons, and sort the files by label, but also you have an option of applying color tints to either an icon or its name or both. This gives you more freedom and options in organizing your files. Additionally, Labels X shares file label information with Mac OS 9. So, no matter where you label your files - you will see the Labels in both Mac OS 9 and Mac OS X (file labeling is a built-in feature in Mac OS 9). What's New: Version 1.6: Made Labels X function with Panther Removed the Labels X "Label" Finder menu item in Panther Labels X will now modify the stripes shown in the Finder and open/save dialog boxes while running in Panther. Added options to specify whether or not to draw the name stripes or the icons with Labels. Now makes the ~/bin/ folder invisible when the preference pane is first opened. Now sets label colors and names if set via the Finder. Now resets the label names to their proper label names assuming the user has not customized them before installing Labels X. If they have, only the unchanged label names are fixed. This means that Yellow is no longer Pink. Pink is now "In Progress". Added a "Relaunch Finder" button.
