Kapsali is multi-user point of sale (pos) software designed from the ground up to be used in a touch screen network. Ideally suited to restaurants, cafes, bars, clubs etc.

Kapsali is Windows based and efficient enough to run at an acceptable speed on older client PC's - even those running NT4 or 95/98. As you would expect, it's performance on a modern PC running XP or 2000 is outstanding.

For the more technically minded...

Kapsali is written in Delphi and backends to a Firebird database. Firebird is an extremely robust SQL database with the efficiency of a small footprint. It is highly unlikely that you will ever outgrow this database in a point of sale environment.

Good design meant that a significant number of stored procedures were written in the database to shift the load from the clients to the server. Kapsali is a true client/server application. This is the reason why the client PC's do not have to be especially powerful to run the software - running a decent server is recommended.
