Job service invoice template in excel format

Like a regular invoice form, this job service invoice template details your company information, invoice, invoice date, customer information; besides that, it also has space for you to enter essential information like job date (start date and end date), job location.

On the invoice body, you can list all the items that the customer should pay for, including material used, labor charge and other expenses. The fields on the bottom of the invoice from summarize invoice subtotal, tax and total and balance due. All calculations are done automatically with Excel formulas.

You may find that the printed invoices are differing from the working area of the invoice template. This is because Excel prints only the section (range) defined by the "print area" name. The approach of separating print area and working area makes the invoice template more printer-friendly, for example you can put the content that are not printable outside the print area.

The default invoice form layout is designed by keeping general invoicing requirements of job service business in mind. This makes the invoice template ready to be used and you can issue your invoice documents to your clients without modifying the invoice form.

If you have some special requirements not implemented in the invoice form, or you simply want to make your invoices different from others, such as using the color you like, it is easy to customize based on the existing form by using various tools in Excel. For example, you can easily set the fonts, colors, borders, patters for any cells/fields. If you want to do some calculations on the invoice form, it is also easy to do with excel formulas.
