Mac OS X 10.3 Panther has a handy function on the finders contextual menu for "archiving" a file/folder. It creates a zip file with macbinary data for storing the resource fork. Its very fast, and considerably better then stuffit archives. Stuffit Expander supports macbinary zip files... but not the format that panther outputs. DittoZip is an applescript droplet which creates MacBinary zip files that Expander can use by using the command line program Ditto.. .
