DeskBlox is a cross-platform scripting engine that lets you run small applications called \\\"Widgets\\\" that can do pretty much whatever you want them to. These widgets, written in JavaScript or Python, can provide simple activities such as clocks, and calendars, or can provide very complex functionality such as peer-to-peer file sharing, or remote program execution.

Widgets written for DeskBlox blend fluidly into your desktop environemtn because they use existing desktop capabilities of the platform, yet are not constrained by the traditional window borders supported by the windowing environment (e.g. A widget window can be triangular if you wish).

DeskBlox includes a number of useful widgets you can use immediately, or you can download additional widgets from the growing library contained on our web site.
