Ashcan, for the uninitiated, is an arcade-style war game, pitting your navy destroyer against enemy submarines. The object of the game is to sink as many submarines as possible, with the lowest expenditure of depth charges ("ashcans," in the parlance of World War II sailors). This game has seen many incarnations, as I have intermittently tinkered with it since 1974. Ashcan is donationware. If you like it, a voluntary $10 contribution is respectfully requested. A single registration is good for multiple copies in a single household, and/or for a single user for home and office. What's New: Version 2.2.1 adds the following: my seven-year-old found bugs
